About Us
Overview
The International Medical Relief Association (Medics) was founded in 2016, headquartered in Istanbul, Türkiye, as a non-profit humanitarian organisation delivering urgent medical relief to those in need in regions stricken by conflicts and disasters around the world.
Since its founding, the association has focused its efforts on supporting affected communities impartially — worldwide, and in the Arab region in particular — with special attention to life-saving healthcare in the Gaza Strip, which suffers continuous humanitarian crises.
We believe access to healthcare is a fundamental human right, and we work tirelessly to reach everyone deprived of it by poverty, conflict or disaster — taking justice, benevolence and integrity as the core values of our work.

The organisation comprises a full set of departments managing finance, human resources, projects, development and public relations. Each department is a hive of skilled professionals with the competence to manage projects and oversee the relief operation end to end, hand in hand with our field crews — the doctors, nurses, paramedics, technicians and administrators on the ground — so that we bring relief to humankind… wherever they are.

Since our founding in 2016, we at the International Medical Relief Association (Medics) have held to a single, unwavering goal: to stand by people in their hardest moments — when suffering surfaces, need deepens, and the simplest essentials of life disappear. We believe our mission crosses geographic borders to reach everyone in need, that humanitarian work is not a choice but a duty, and that every medical or relief effort we deliver is an investment in a dignified life and a safe future.
We have built strategic partnerships with local and international institutions and adopted high professional standards in managing relief projects, ensuring transparency, efficiency and sustainability. What we have achieved so far would not have been possible without God’s help first, then the efforts of our partners and supporters around the world and the dedication of our staff and volunteers in the field. We are confident the future holds even more hope, as long as we keep working together for humankind.
