Jerusalem

An introduction to the region’s situation, crises and severe need:

Jerusalem faces growing humanitarian and health challenges amid restrictions on movement and access to services, the demolition of homes and displacement of families, and the resulting economic and psychological burdens. These conditions affect patients' ability to receive treatment and increase the hardship of low-income families in securing their health needs. Restrictions on patients coming from outside the city to its hospitals also create an obstacle to obtaining specialized care.

Medics works to support health care in Jerusalem by supplying hospitals with medicines and surgical supplies, funding emergency treatment for those unable to afford it, supporting community health centers, and equipping the Al-Aqsa Mosque clinic, helping to ease patients' suffering and improve access to treatment for those in need.
